I was born in Cahokia, Illinois. A tiny little town on the east side of the mighty Mississippi and the Gateway Arch. (so, basically, East St. Louis).

Growing up, my family moved. ALOT. In fact, I have lived in 9 different states. ( and countless cities within each state).

Forced to make new friends every year, I would reinvent myself for each locale. New identity, new name, new backstory.

I think that led to my love of storytelling. I began writing plays and forcing my sisters to act them out.

At 9 years old, I saw a touring production of Annie and was hooked. I knew i was destined to be on the stage.

After spending 15 years in Los Angeles, working behind the scenes in the commercial production world, I returned home to the midwest to follow my heart back to the theatre.

I have definitely taken the long road to fulfillment, but hey, lots of life experiences to draw on!
